چکیده

Present study was carried out during winter (rabi) seasons of 2018–19 and 2019–20 at the Agricultural Research Station Agriculture University, Kota, Rajasthan to assess effects conventional conservation tillage with organic chemical management on growth, yield attributes, yields, economics weed dynamics in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Vertisols. Five different crop-management practices, viz. (CAO), (CAC), (CTC), (OCT) package practice (PoPs) were studied a randomized block design (RBD) 4 replications. Pooled data revealed that significantly higher plant height (97.7 cm), dry matter accumulation (169.24 g/0.5 metre row length), number tillers (47.05/0.5 meter chlorophyll content leaves (2.186 mg/g), effective (43.15/0.5 spike length (12.86 weight per (2.49 g), test (45.61 grain (5214 kg/ha), straw (7941 net returns (` 90891/ha) recorded under CAC over CAO OCT, although it observed be comparable PoPs CTC practices. Comparing other crop techniques 60 DAS, found most successful for controlling total weeds (9.40/m2) decreasing buildup (167.21 kg/ha).

Weed management and conservation tillage for improving productivity, nutrient uptake and profitability of wheat in soybean (Glycine max)-wheat (Triticumaestivum) cropping system

The effect of tillage, crop establishment and weed management was studied on theperformance of wheat grown after soybean at New Delhi, India during 2010-11 to 2011-12.Sixteen treatment combinations involved 2 tillage, viz. conventional tillage (CT) and zero tillage(ZT), two crop establishment practices, viz. raised-bed and flat-bed and four weed management, viz. isoproturon + hand weeding, mesos...

Integrated Effect of Seed Rates and Weed Management Treatments in Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

Abstract: Increased crop density and use of herbicides are two important components of integrated weed management program in wheat but no much information is available on combined effects of these two treatments. A field experiment was conducted to determine the interaction effect of increasing seed rates and weed management treatments on monocot and dicot weeds, grain and straw yield and uptak...

Conservation tillage, optimal water and organic nutrient supply enhance soil microbial activities during wheat (Triticum Aestivum L.) cultivation

The field experiments were conducted on sandy loam soil at New Delhi, during 2007 and 2008 to investigate the effect of conservation tillage, irrigation regimes (sub-optimal, optimal and supra-optimal water regimes), and integrated nutrient management (INM) practices on soil biological parameters in wheat cultivation. The conservation tillage soils has shown significant (p<0.05) increase in soi...

The wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) leaf proteome.

The wheat leaf proteome was mapped and partially characterized to function as a comparative template for future wheat research. In total, 404 proteins were visualized, and 277 of these were selected for analysis based on reproducibility and relative quantity. Using a combination of protein and expressed sequence tag database searching, 142 proteins were putatively identified with an identificat...

Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Growth and Yield as Influenced by Flooding and Salinity Stresses in Northern Iran

Salinity and flooding are as two very important factors of soil degradation. They often occur together and cancause severe damage to plants. However, plant response to environmental stresses may vary with growth stage atwhich exposure occurs. A pot study was conducted in 2005-2006 in northern Aq Qala (northern Iran) to studycombine effects of waterlogging and soil salinity at different growth s...
